Founded in 1991, Akron Masjid serves the Muslim community of Akron Ohio. Muslims are able to pray in our facility 5 daily prayers. Friday prayer services start around 1:15PM EST but we recommend folks arrive on time to not miss the sermon (Khutbah).

Our Saturday school offers children 5 – 17 years of age a place to learn proper recitation of Quran and memorization, learning Arabic and Islamic Studies.

We also offer separate Quran Hifz & Recitation program for children and adults that are only interested in Quran classes. These are held in person and in some cases Quran classes are offered online for children and adults living over 20 miles away from the Akron Masjid. For more information visit our Services page.
